Recent Projects such as these are the sorts
of things we do:
- Wrote training manual and On-Line Help for Smart Software, an innovative developer of
forecasting and demand planning software.
- Wrote RxPlorer On-Line Help. This tool for mining the data found in phamaceutical claims databases was built by Centrus, a pharmacy benefits management company.
- Wrote a variety of user manuals, On-Line Help and Administrator documentation for Integrail, a provider of state-of-the-art
health information management systems and related services for the healthcare industry.
- Helped write private access portal and business plan for small technology company.
- Built a web site with online gallery for the Print Club of Albany. (See the club's extraordinary history, beginning in 1933.)
- Wrote a wide array of product descriptions and other marketing materials for major
players in the telecommunications marketplace.
- Helped write compliance document and funding proposal for a cutting-edge energy technology company.
- Wrote System Administrator On-Line Help for Reseller ADVantage,
an integrated business to business e-commerce solution. The product is an Object Expo
award winner: "Best Object Oriented System for Legacy Systems Access."
- Wrote documentation for True Software, a provider of Application Change
Management solutions for the Information Technology market.
- Wrote Train-the-Trainer manuals to help establish Authorized Trainers program at MapInfo Corporation, makers of the world's most
successful desktop mapping software. Also wrote a large variety of documentation and
On-line Help for custom applications for Fortune 500 customers based on the MapInfo
software.
- Wrote documentation and On-Line Help for Healthdemographics,
a provider of market planning information, analytical tools and data for the healthcare
industry.
- Trained students at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Writing to the World Wide
Web. Rensselaer has the country's oldest (and
perhaps most well regarded) program in technical writing.
- Wrote On-line Help system for DataWare, a leading
supplier of software and services for online publishing and CD-ROM.
- Wrote On-line Help system for a fleet management company. You might need Fleet
Management software if you have to keep track of the tread on 30,000 tires and oil changes
for a thousand and one trucks. Not recommended for casual truckers.
- Wrote mission statements, product and company descriptions, business plan and other
foundational documents for Attic Graphics, a high technology startup that builds and
licenses 3-D VRML Authoring tools. Their 3-D engine was the power behind a Robots in
Cyberspace project that is headed for real space [the moon, actually, and through the
Lunar Rover Initiative] in 2005 but for now is located at the Carnegie Mellon Robotics
Laboratory.
- Part of the Team effort helping with the design and implementation of the Rensselaer
Pages on Multi-Disciplinary Design.
